WhateverList Privacy Policy

This policy applies to all information collected or submitted in WhateverList for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and other devices and platforms.

Stance on Privacy

Your privacy is extremely important to me and I try not to use or collect any user data. I believe that your data belongs to you, and I do not attempt to profit from your data in any way. In fact, WhateverList has been designed so that I have absolutely no access to your data (lists, categories, items, scheduled notifications, etc). The only personally identifiable data that I may receive is information that you provide if you email me for support.

Data Storage

Your data is stored locally on-device using Apple's CoreData technology and synced between devices using Apple's CloudKit framework. I cannot view any of this data.

Apple's privacy policy may be found here.

Accounts

WhateverList does not use account logins or passwords. If you are signed in with your Apple ID on your device, then your data (lists, categories, and items) will sync between all devices that use this Apple ID. Otherwise, data is stored locally on your device.

WhateverList uses the RevenueCat SDK to handle payment processing; their system captures some analytics related to subscriptions and in-app purchases. I have configured RevenueCat to use anonymous app user IDs, so purchase history collected by WhateverList will not be linked to your identity. RevenueCat's privacy policy may be found here.

Your Consent

By using WhateverList, you consent to this privacy policy.

Contact

If you have questions regarding this privacy policy, you may email privacy@whateverlist.app.

Privacy Policy Changes

WhateverList may change its Privacy Policy at any time. Your continued use of WhateverList after any change in this privacy policy will constitute your acceptance of the change.
